Amanda J. McNaughton RMT

Amanda is a highly experienced massage therapist who has been working in the industry for more than 15 years. Her experience includes working in multidisciplinary clinics alongside chiropractors, acupuncturists, physiotherapists, exercise therapists, and other massage therapists. Her passion for the business side of the massage industry led her to enroll in business classes at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, where she completed her Business Certificate with Distinction. This education facilitated the opening of AJM Fitness & Massage in 2019, where she offers massage therapy services and group fitness classes.

Amanda has a deep understanding of the benefits of massage therapy and staying active. Her interest in physical activity and movement led her to become a certified Kettlebell Kickboxing Canada Instructor and Rock Steady Boxing Instructor. She is committed to helping others live a healthy, joyful life and regularly seeks out new learning opportunities and courses to advance her knowledge in chronic pain, pain management, movement, fitness, and physical activity.

With a wealth of knowledge and skills gained through education, research, and experience, Amanda employs a primarily scientific-based approach in her massage therapy treatments. However, recognizing that there is still much to learn about the brain and body, she also integrates a holistic approach into her treatments. Inspired by the positive results she experienced from practitioners who use energy techniques, Amanda pursued and completed her Reiki Level 1 & 2 certification. This allows her to offer clients a balanced approach to healthcare, combining evidence-based methods with holistic practices.

Rock Steady Boxing is a specialized program for people living with Parkinson’s.  Classes are offered at the University of Regina.  For more information regarding registration and classes, visit the U of R website.

From an early age, Brenden has been deeply interested in helping people and has had a fascination with the human body. This passion led him to pursue a career change in 2019, enrolling in the massage therapy program at Western College of Remedial Massage Therapies.

Brenden is highly motivated to assist those who have suffered sports-related injuries. Having personally experienced multiple injuries from his time playing football and hockey, Brenden understands how crucial it is to properly rehab the body in order to achieve a speedy recovery. It is this experience that has led Brenden to develop a special interest in sports massage. After completing the Sports Massage Certificate for pre and post-event massage therapy, Brenden now offers this option to his clients. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to help clients return to the activities they love in a safe and efficient manner.

In addition to his interest in sports massage, Brenden is very sociable and enjoys meeting new people. He hopes to continue growing his practice and expanding his knowledge of the human body. Brenden is always eager to learn new modalities that can help his clients enjoy a pain-free and comfortable life. He welcomes new clients and looks forward to a long and fulfilling career in massage therapy.
